Hume Highway Duplication - Albury to Tarcutta and Coolac Bypass

The Hume Highway is the major freight route between Sydney and Melbourne. This package of works intends to duplicate over 60kms of road between the Sturt Hwy (north of Tarcutta) and Albury connecting into the completed Albury Bypass, and a 12km bypass around Coolac (north of Gundagai)

Auspat has provided surveyors on all 3 major sections of this project. This includes the Northern Alliance section constructed by Leighton Contractors, the Southern Alliance section constructed by Abigroup Contractors and the Coolac Bypass constructed by Abigroup Contractors.

Our involvement has included set-out and conformances surveys for the concrete pavements, survey control and set-out for drainage, earthworks, intersections and communications.
